Medium: Water Color and Ink
Location: Multiple sketches of the Rose Seller located at Stenten Ave and Bethlehem Pike, Philadelphia, Pa. He has been at this intersection for several years. He told me that his family lives in Uganda, Africa, and that he is selling roses to motorists to help his son graduate from Temple University. He permitted me to paint him. I agreed to give him the original. Several days later when I returned he was gone. He had told me he planned to go back home soon. I regret that I did not complete the painting for him in time. I won’t forget him.
